Il balcone - The new outdoor space with a view of the Vallemaggia

It's surprising what has been created in the last few weeks. With the new balcony, we have discovered our most beautiful living space in the sun and fresh air. It is particularly impressive that we were able to support the new construction on the ancient, weathered beams and so only minimal interventions in the original construction were necessary. From the new wooden balcony, we enjoy the view of the Vallemaggia together.

We feel safe on the new balcony made of natural larch wood. We are now standing where the old beams used to stick out of the wall and the original balcony was probably demolished many years ago.

Beautiful detail work on the wooden railing. The wooden construction will not be treated and will gradually blend in with the existing wood.
